iCircuit 1.4's New Features

iCircuit 1.4 was released and has some powerful new features.

  • Dependent Sources let you specify mathematical expressions for voltage and current sources. These expressions can reference other elements allowing you to solve some of those annying homework problems and simulate complex models.
  • Subcircuits allow you to modularize your designs and create custom elements. (Combined with the dependent sources, this is a very powerful new feature.)
  • Custom Scope Tracks allow you to perform and plot math on different signals in the circuit.
  • Scope Triggers make it easier to analyze high-frequncy or frequency-varying signals.

I am very excited for these new features as they greatly extend the power of this app. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!
