LCARS Reader Source Code Available on Github

Though you may not care, my first iPad app was a news reader with a very distinctive UI. It was called LCARS Reader (http://lcarsreader.com) and is being taken off the app store tonight. It's a sad day for me.

You can go get it for FREE right now on the App Store.

Also, I have decided to release the source code on github. If you're a programmer, you may be interested. https://github.com/praeclarum/lcars

iCircuit 1.2 is Out

Apple has approved iCircuit 1.2 and it is available at an AppStore near you. I hope everyone will update since this release makes editing circuits substantially easier than before.

Also, hooking up the new microphone element to the speaker element is great fun and worth the download time! :)

iCircuit 1.2 is About to Arrive

The long-waited for iCircuit version 1.2 has been submitted to Apple for approval. Thank you everyone for your patience as this release was finished.

Here are the release notes:

NEW
★ Automatic wiring used when moving parts - keeps your circuit working no matter where you position them
★ iPhone UI upgraded to make it 333% easier to use
★ The wiring tool is now "dramatic" to help you make circuits faster
★ Improved circuit management UI includes easier export and changing default settings of circuits
★ Undo allows you to explore the edit history of circuits and jump to past versions, just press and hold the Undo button for a second to see this history
★ Transformer, SCR, Sweep, Microphone, Accelerometer, and Lamp elements added
★ Element editor now brought up by double-tapping & value inputs have quick magnitude-change buttons
★ Printing and emailing PDFs now supported on iOS 4.2

FIXES
★ Lots of bug fixes to make the app compatible with the new iOS
★ Less crashing and much better performance
★ Fixed the annoying popping sound that the Speaker element made (still not perfect, but it's gotten better)

Also included is the ability to pause the scope and to use cursors to get precise values from the graph.

I realize that not everyone's desired features made it into this release (sorry, no voltage regulators yet), but I hope you'll agree with me that this version is much more fun and much easier to use!
