Op Amp Voltage Follower

By barber408

An Operational Amplifier configured as a voltage follower. The simple feedback loop configures the amp output voltage equal to the amp input voltage. Also known as a buffer, the voltage follower offers not galvanic isolation, rather it causes the separation of voltage influence between the input and output sides. Because this is a useful and compact method of achieving voltage buffering, the voltage follower is one of the most frequently used configurations of operational amplifiers.
